There is something about a good white bottom that just makes you add not one but three new white pieces to your closet within a period of two months, including this BR wide leg trousers. I have really been feeling white this spring and the new additions to my closet say it all!!!
I have always talked vehemently of my pancake butt and all the sartorial issues I face while shopping for trouser legs- no matter what, the issue persists. But one brand that hits the chord with my flat butt is Banana Republic. I've bought a bunch of their trousers and as opposed too other brands, their fit is the best. This white one was an impulse purchase, thanks to Banana Republic's irresistible friends and family discount sale--whomp whomp...whatsoever " I'm loving it!"
A pair of white trouser is like a blank canvas: thrown in any number of colors and you'll have laid the foundation for a successful art. I've always loved a good mix of pastels with brights and this outfit is just what I was feeling that day.
A metallic top in an unexpected color like this green one, is definitely a good way to play up any plane-jane white bottom. Not only does it add color but also steps up the wow factor, making it more evening appropriate.
White trousers can be worn in a corporate environment provided you pair it with a button down and a well-fitted blazer in an office-appropriate color. A pair of neutral pumps would be the perfect finish to this look.
Lastly, be it a trouser or a skirt- always go for nude under wears. You definitely don't want your colored undies showing through a crisp white trousers- " remember it is always tacky !!" A nude g-string or a thong would be a play-safe option.
Do you have any rules of your own for wearing white trousers???
Thanks for stopping by loves...
