It feels sartorially rejuvenating to try new trends, especially if they've had a fair share of popularity that season. Palazzo pants have seen the best this summer and I feel a little embarrassed to mention that it took me quite some time to warm up to this trend.
The last time I was seen in a fun pair of wide-leg palazzo was precisely two months ago. Now two months later : I have come to realize how cool and easy to adapt this trend is. Wear it day in day out with your favorite crop top, just swap heels: and you've effortlessly transitioned it from day to night. That's exactly what happened in my case. For the blog pics I wore this outfit with platform heels and swapped those later for these Michael Kors flats for an outdoor film concert.
This trend can be bit of a challenge for the short-heighted folks, as the amount of fabric in the pants can just swallow you up, making you look even shorter. But for those still willing to try this trend, culottes would be a good alternative. Culottes are less wide at the bottom and can pass for wide leg without being too engulfing. Also a slim-fitted top could help balance the proportions. For the taller league this trend is a easy and must try: it's forgiving, comfortable and chic for any occasion.
I am loving it and hope you would too. What do you think of this trend ??
