Concluding the monochromatic looks series today, gives me the much awaited relief, especially when the cheerful side of my brain kept craving other colors , while I was bound to stick to one color family under the self-proclaimed challenge of featuring 3 monochromatic looks....Was tough, but nothing could undermine my willingness to achieve these looks.
Three days in a row, wearing a single color each day, did no justice to the gorgeous weather outside that called for wearing brights and colors. I realize, the three looks were on the brighter side ( neon, pinks , pastels, oranges ), but I really wanted to play around and mix them together in one outfit. Putting together head-to-toe, single color looks was no doubt challenging, but with a little brainstorming and closet rummaging, I could hit the bull's-eye !!!
Switching gears, the pictures today don't do much justice to the skirt color, which actually is a seafoam blue, but appears more white here. The blouse I am wearing, is one of the pieces that you buy and forget simply because you want to. I have had this top for almost 3 years now and worn only once, all becouse I wasn't sure of the turquoise color on me. In the outfit, it seems to stand out favorably against the lighter skirt, but that doesn't convince me a 100%..Will try styling it differently before I make my final choice of keeping it or getting rid of it ... decisions, decisions !!!!
So now, I depend on your opinion about this. What do you think of the different shades of blue on me, especially the top ??????
