Turmeric Latte

5 ingredient turmeric latte aka golden milk

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Unsweetend Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Honey/ sweetener of your choice
  • Few strands of saffron

Instructions
 

  • In a deep pot bring milk to boil over medium heat.
  • Add turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and whisk briskly.
  • Add saffron strands, crank up the heat and continue to boil.
  • Now add honey and boil for another 5-10 minutes to cook the turmeric.
  • Top it off woth some dried rose petals and enjoy hot.

Notes

You can use any milk- almond, coconut, oats, or regular. If using sweetened version of any milk, adjust the quantity of the sweetener accordingly. 
You can skip the ginger powder if it's a strong flavor for you. 
You can use any sweetener of your choosing- honey, maple syrup, splenda. 
Make sure to boil the milk for a good 5-10 mins, you don't want to taste the rawness of turmeric.
