CUTOUT CO-ORDS

My first attempt at wearing co-ordinates and I am ready to make the confession that " I am guilty of committing the sartorial crime of not trying this trend before, a trend that has been everywhere and me alone never cared to give it a shot " .............sigh !!!

But thanks to my stylish readers for the eye-opening recommendation, which completely changed my perspective about co-ordinating sets.  Had it not been for your advice, I would have never tried this matchy-matchy look. Saying that " I am in love with this matching top and bottom trend " would be an understatement. Come on: what's not to like about this trend ???? : It is easy-peasy, throw-on and be ready-in-seconds kind of outfit. It definitely takes the brainstorming element out.

For the starters, I chose a simple set from Banana Republic ( both on sale now ). Actually, they were available as separates, but owing to their cutout pattern, I could make them work as co-ords. With so many possibilities of skirt, shorts, minis and trouser combos, it was a safe bet on my part to choose something simple and summery. I could have tried a printed version in a more playful combo, but this look doesn't disappoint at all. So if you are in doubt, go with white or may be black co-ords. When a lil adventurous, try prints and patterns, I am telling you, this trend will not fail you.

skirt- Banana Republic ,  on sale for $35 ( similar A-line style )
pumps- ShoeDazzle ( similar )
clutch- similar , next on my covet list

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
