This look might be of no interest to my non-Indian readers, but as a blogger who has to cater to a multi-cultural viewer, I decided to dedicate this week to my Indian readers who have been long requesting me to share some Indian looks on the blog.
Past weekend was a good opportunity to wear and share some Indian looks, as I was attending an Indian wedding. Since Indian weddings are a minimum of three day festivities, I left no stones and no Indian clothing I stow here in US unturned, and took all troubles of two to three outfit changes each day. As a result of which I have traditional looks in abundance to deliver to your feed. But keeping in mind the future interest of my non-Indian readers, this will be the last [after yesterday's post] and the best traditional look post so far.
I wore this gorgeous sari to the cocktail reception. Needless to mention that 'thank you' was the most used word of my evening. Regardless of what others thought of it, I love this sari. The subtle shimmer, the intricate crystal work, the sensuous blouse, the makeup , the jewelry, the bindi .... overall capture the essence of this true Indian at heart.
