HAPPY HUMP DAY and a friendly reminder of my ELF MANICURE HAMPER GIVEAWAY. This giveaway is open to US and INDIA residents only.

The caption to this post might sound like a laundry detergent ad to you, but it now happens to be my new closet mantra....."don't shop, but wash and repeat ."

As a fashion blogger, it is very easy to fall into the card-swipe trap for each time you are out shopping ( blame it on the shopping tendencies that blogging blesses you with)  but the art of recycling your old pieces into your current style is the real proof of your inherent fashion strengths.

To steer myself away from this trap, I have been making constant effort to shop and reuse my existing closet pieces. For instance this skirt first showed up here and this blazer came to say hello here, here and here.
I have been putting all my creativity to use to come up with new and fresh looks using the same closet pieces.  Not that I am on any kind of a shopping ban but it could be a challenge to resist shopping  when all the stores are flooded with new spring-worthy pieces.
All I am trying to do is avoid any future impulse buying mistakes that I am guilty of doing in the past. I know that by doing so I will be doing good both to my pocket and my closet. They will thank me, for sure !

So now I need to keep my calm and wash and repeat !
