Last evening, we got a chance to catch up with some old friends over an impromptu birthday party of a common friend. The ' birthday boy/man' was completely elated and overjoyed by this last minute surprise and why not-- who doesn't love surprises ????
Meeting over for an evening party, on a weekday, considering the next morning woes, is so unusual for us, but starting early and winding up early, made the evening worth it and that too without any compromises. So, from today onward, attending a weekday party would be fun rather than a hassle.....LOL !!
Now coming to my outfit, I chose to wear my full length lilac denim, exclusively because I wanted to cover my unshaven legs....oops, I agree that sounds gross, but at least I dared to speak the truth... Anyways, I paired the jeans with a flowy, cat print blouse and topped up with a collarless jacket just to beat the restaurant chill. Yes, a collarless jacket. Honestly, it kind of felt light to be without any neck restrictions. When wearing colored jacket and bottom, keeping the inside shirt and shoes neutral does the trick and sobers down the brights.
Another hair tip coming your way- you have to attend a party and your is all oily and you have no time for a shampoo, just spritz your crown with some life-saving, oil absorbing dry shampoo , rub with the palms to dust off the extra, make a side braid, add another braid in the front and voila !!! All ready in no time. Nobody would ever know your dirty hair secret unless otherwise you blare out publicly, just like I did here today....I guess its the truth serum, that I am high on these days, is making me reveal my dirty little secrets to you.....BTW, I am just kidding, I love to share my handy-dandy side of me, with you dolls.
Truth be told, it was an evening well spent in the company of good friends, good food and unlimited fun.
