In my continuing quest to be a part of "MARION'S lace link up party", I have once again adorned myself in an all-lace outfit today. Back to back, two days iYn a row I have been enjoying my fling with lace and suede. If not for this challenge and to fulfill a popular request from my South East Asian readers, this outfit would still be gathering dust in my closet !!
This dress made its debut in Nov 2011- that was the first and the only time I have worn this in the last year and a half. This tunic-pants set was custom made for me by one of my fabulously talented designer friend NAUREEN @ NRN STUDIO who now runs her boutique out of VIRGINIA. You could check her designs for yourself here. You will need to request an invitation to her FB group before you could view her online catalog. She takes custom orders and prepares each piece to order. She could even have your custom order shipped to your door. The price ranges anywhere between $150 and $250.
This particular tunic is ultra feminine, paneled style alternating between lace and self embroidered fabric. A wide-leg pant at the bottom completes the look but as the tunic falls heavy and low, the pants are barely visible. The first time around I had paired this outfit with some silver sandals but this time my black peep toes stole the show. Wearing this today made me feel beautiful and closer to my Indian roots. It is sure an elegant, easy peasy, no snug and a comfortable ensemble.
What do you think of my INDIAN STYLE ?????
