I feel thrilled in presening to you an outfit in winter....but.......without any bundled up pieces. Yes, you hear it right- no woolens. I am not faking being warm, it is the unforeseen rise in the temperature wherein throwing a light jacket was the ideal choice for staying outdoors. I had seen Katherine Heigl pictures on the web in this mustard blouse and black denim look, which happens to be my inspiration for today's outfit.
I have tried to recreate her embellished blouse look by wearing a gold beaded necklace and opted for my nude ankle boots over her black knee high boots.I could have worn black boots too but as I have really thin and long limbs, I avoid going monochromatic on my bottom half which otherwise makes me appear disproportionate. So I always try to break the line of continuity. As for the jacket, you all know by now how much I love for blue, so I had to add something blue to finish the look.
FYI, I have worn the blouse and the jacket before , the proof of which is HERE and HERE.
A commendable effort in my opinion.
Hope you all like my celebrity inspired look, which was incomplete without my touch of BLUE.
